 Get ready Silver Meadows!

Our Community Block Party is coming this September, and we’re planning a celebration full of fun and great neighborly vibes!

To help bring the party to life, the Board of Directors is looking for 3–4 volunteers to join the planning committee. 

If you enjoy helping out, sharing ideas, and being part of a fun community event, we’d love to have you on board.

We’re looking for neighbors who are:

• Friendly and team-oriented
• Reliable and willing to lend a hand
• Comfortable helping with planning, communication, and event-day support
• Excited to help make the block party a big success

This is just a reminder to everyone about proper and considerate use of the community dumpsters. There have been instances where dumpsters have filled prematurely, making it difficult for others to dispose of everyday household trash.

To help ensure adequate space and maintain a clean and sanitary environment for all residents, please keep the following guidelines in mind:

• Break down or flatten all boxes before placing them in the dumpster. Whenever possible, cardboard should be placed in designated recycling bins rather than the trash.

• If you do not currently have a recycling bin, they are available through Town Hall.

• Place trash as far inside the dumpster as possible, rather than leaving bags near the front or by the side doors.

• Do not leave trash bags or items outside the dumpster.

When dumpsters are not used properly, it can quickly lead to overflow, attract rodents and other wildlife, and create unsanitary conditions. In addition, trash left outside the dumpster will not be collected by our hauler and may prevent proper servicing.

These small steps make a significant difference in keeping our community clean, safe, and pleasant for everyone. We appreciate your cooperation and consideration.

This is a friendly reminder to join us for our upcoming Day of Caring on Saturday, May 16th, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm for a fun and meaningful community volunteer event inspired by Earth Day!

The Association will have the soil tilled and mulch ready for our designated beautification areas, so we’re all set to make a visible difference together. Please remember to bring your own gardening supplies if you plan to help plant. If you’re looking to pick up flowers or greenery, Sue DeGennaro has shared that Lowe’s is currently having a limited time sale on plants. Thanks Sue!

This is a family-friendly event so feel free to bring your kids and dogs along! Even if gardening isn’t your thing, there are plenty of other ways to get involved. Volunteers are welcome to help by taking photos and videos of the event, distributing snacks and beverages, or assisting with setup and cleanup.

This is a great opportunity to connect with neighbors, enjoy the outdoors, and take pride in our community. We hope to see you there as we come together to make our shared spaces even more beautiful!

Join us for our upcoming Day of Caring on Saturday May 16, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a special community volunteer event inspired by Earth Day!

This is a wonderful opportunity for neighbors to come together and help beautify our community through a hands-on project that will make a visible difference for everyone to enjoy. The day will include planting flowers and spreading mulch in a designated area of the community, helping to create a more welcoming and vibrant environment for all residents.

We encourage all unit owners to come out, participate, and show their support. Whether you enjoy gardening, general cleanup, or helping behind the scenes, there is a place for everyone to lend a hand.

This is more than just a volunteer event, it is a chance to connect with your neighbors, take pride in our shared community, and be part of something meaningful. Don’t miss this opportunity to make a difference and help create a beautiful space we can all enjoy!

As a reminder, If you’d like to have a question addressed at the upcoming quarterly meeting, please visit the “Your Voice” page  as you now have until Friday, April 17th to submit your question. 

The Board will prioritize questions received through the website before opening the floor for general discussion at the meeting.

The Board of Directors would like to share that Roy Agnello, our Board President, has chosen to step down from his position. We extend our sincere gratitude to Roy for his dedicated service, steady leadership, and the positive contributions he has made to the Silver Meadows community. We wish him success and happiness in all his future endeavors.

As we move forward, Linda Kelsey, our Vice President, will serve as Interim President during this transition. The Board remains fully committed to ensuring a smooth and steady process while continuing the progress we’ve made together.
